Hungry Jack Lodge resort - Lakefront Family Vacations on the Gunflint Trail in northern MN
Hungry Jack Lodge & Campground has been one of Minnesota's best lakeside family vacation destinations since 1924Hungry Jack Lodge and Campground resort is off the Gunflint Trail, adjacent to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCAW) and is the only resort on Hungry Jack Lake in the heart of the six million acre Superior National Forest. Lakeside cabin, log cabin and cottage rentals are available during the summer, fall and winter seasons of the year at our Minnesota family resort. Our lakeside cabins and log cabins accommodate from 2 to 20 people in a single cabin or log lodge. Our Gunflint Trail lakeside resort welcomes any size group or family for summer, fall or winter vacations or get-away's. The campground at Hungry Jack Lodge resort has 13 wooded campsites which can accommodate tents through large motor homes. Summer activities at our Minnesota family resort include superb fishing, canoeing, hiking, camping and much much more. Access to the Boundary Water Canoe Area (BWCA) can be made by canoe directly from Hungry Jack Lake with only one very short portage. Hungry Jack Lake is considered one of the best MN walleye fishing hotspots and has 8 1/2 miles of shoreline. Boat, canoe and pontoon boat rentals are available at our Gunflint Trail, Minnesota family resort during the summer. Our Gunflint Trail, Grand Marais, Minnesota resort is isolated at the end of a dead end road, offering cabin, log cabin rental and campground vacationers the ultimate in peace and serenity. We recently added some new photos. Our main lodge at Hungry Jack Lodge & Campground on Minnesota's Gunflint Trail was destroyed by fire in March of 2008. We are open and offer all of our normal amenities and services with the exception of meals and other amenities which had been offered in our main lakeside lodge building. The NEW main lakefront lodge building at our Gunflint Trail, Grand Marais, MN lakeside resort is expected to be open in August of 2009.
