The lakefront log lodge at Hungry Jack
Lodge and Campground family resort on the Gunflint Trail in northern Minnesota
 The new
log lodge, built in 2009, at Hungry Jack Lodge and Campground is
considered by most to be the most up-to-date and impressive lakefront family resort
lodge on the Gunflint Trail in northern MN.
Boasting a 2 story cathedral ceiling on its' upper level with views down the
length of Hungry Jack Lake the log lodge with its' two story stone fireplace,
has the rustic feelings of a true north woods lodge and yet has the most up to
date features and amenities available for vacationing family resort guests.
The
2 story upper level of our lakeside log Lodge is comprised of our
Fireside Dining Room,
outside dining porch, a sitting and reading area, gift shop our business office
and kitchen. Upon entering the upper level of Hungry Jack Lodge your eyes
will not know what to focus on first. Big game heads, antiques and relics
reflecting the history of the region will all fight to draw your attention away
from the magnificent view of Honeymoon Bluff at the east end of Hungry Jack
Lake.
 Though
most
people want to "escape the rat race" and get away from it all, we
realize that some people may have a reason that they must have access
to the Internet for business or other important reasons while they are
vacationing at northern Minnesota family resort. For that reason the main lodge of our resort is a high speed
Internet wireless "hotspot".
 Lakeside
dining and Banquets with spectacular lake views
The picturesque view of Hungry Jack Lake and Honeymoon Bluff and the warm
coziness of our dining room are there for the enjoyment and relaxation of guests
and non-guests of Hungry Jack Lodge. With inside seating for 40 people our
Fireside Dining Room offers the
finest home cooking' served up family style during the spring, summer
and fall seasons. Additional outdoor seating is available on our 2nd story
dining porch during appropriate weather. Our winter dining menu is
ala-carte and includes appetizers sandwiches, pizza, and special winter
drinks.

"logger's Lounge" bar and recreation room
The
evening is when the lower level of our Lodge really comes to life.
The Loggers Lounge bar and Game Room on the lower floor provides a place to
gather for the latest fish tales and your favorite beverages. Snacks, candy and pizza are also available at the log topped
bar or in the game room areas of our lakeside log lodge.

The Loggers Lounge now has tap beer (6 taps), wine and full
liquor service.
With three TV's, a pool table, darts & video games plus the
latest Touch Tune
jukebox there is always something for everyone to do in the Loggers Lounge.
There are multiple tables available in the Lopgger Lounge and game room for
those who want to sit in a group or do not wish to sit at the bar. Tired from a long
active day? Relax on a sofa or a
recliner in front of the Game Room's stone fireplace and become hypnotized by the dancing
flames.
Or, sit outside the
Logger's Lounge on its' spacious deck and look at the stars.
On a clear night and you'll see more stars than you've probably ever seen
before. Perhaps you'll even get a
glimpse of the "northern lights".
Outside
the main Lodge on the lower level you will find a large lawn, which has a play
area with swings, horseshoes and sandbox. Our
sand swimming beach with raft, kids fishing dock, and sauna are also located
here. In addition, there are
benches and a lounge swing, near waters edge, for those who just want to sit,
relax and soak in the beauty of Hungry Jack Lake.
