Hungry Jack Lodge & Campground and the Gunflint Trail offers a wide variety of activities, year round to support and entertain the vacationer.  

Fishing in this virgin wooded area is the best in the state offering, smallmouth bass, trout, northern pike and excellent pan fishing year round.  If you prefer, there is canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling and of course, just taking it easy and relaxing.  No matter what you decide to do, there is always a breathtaking view around the corner.  To see photos of some of the activities available at Hungry Jack Lodge and Campground be sure to visit out Photo Galleries page.

The Staff at Hungry Jack Lodge & Campground is here to help, guide and assist you in making your vacation whatever you want it to be.  Fishing equipment, bait, boats, canoes, pontoon boats and more are all available at Hungry Jack.  Maps for area lakes and the BWCA are available in our business office, bait shop and the Loggers Lounge.  A free map of Hungry Jack Lake is also available.

Permits are required for all visitors of the BWCA, whether for a day or overnight.  If you want to canoe, hike or fish in the BWCA, Hungry Jack Lodge & Campground will provide you with a free "day use" permit.  For more information about about BWCA permits visit http://www.bwca.cc/tripplanning/reservations.htm
