The south end of the main lodge, where the office and sitting room were located, engulfed in flames.  This photo was taken just as firefighters arrived on the scene.  The two vehicles were dragged away from the lodge by the firefighters shortly after this photo was taken.

Firefighters trying to save the south end of the main lodge building, so that critical documents and business equipment located in the office at the southwest corner of the lodge could be saved.  Firefighters did cut a hole in the wall of the office and were able to save the computer and some of the other items from the office, however the computer was damaged. 

This photo was shot the morning after the fire and shows the charred remains of the lodge as viewed from the lawn NE of the main lodge building.

Again, this photo was shot the morning after the fire.  This is a view of the north end of the lodge, where the porch and stairs outside the kitchen door were.

Behind the firefighter you can see the front deck of the main lodge and the chimney of the fireplace in the dining room.  To the left of the chimney you can see through a space where a window had been to the blue sky.

Taken the day after the fire, this photo was taken looking north from the southeast corner of the building.  The stairs that you see go to the small deck at the south end of the breakfast porch.  The glass walled breakfast porch is totally destroyed and gone.
